FAQ

Why do you ask for a 50% deposit?

This will confirm your photoshoot booking and make sure that my time and effort is respected. You can get your deposit back if you cancel prior to a week before the shoot. You will not receive your deposit back if you cancel within one week of your photoshoot (assuming normal circumstances). Be communicative with your photographer in a timely manner.

When/how will I get my photos?

You will receive an online gallery link with all your hand-picked and edited photos about a week or so after your shoot (journalism has made me a fast editor!). You can actually find them on this website, in the Portfolio section. You can download all the photos from the gallery, select your favorites, share them, and cherish them forever!

How many photos will I receive?

I can always guarantee 50 digital photos--I've never gone below that. I am an overshooter, so you're definitely going to get a lot! Unfortunately, if you're as indecisive as me, you may have a hard time choosing your favorites... But the good news is, you can keep everything I give you!

Why is it that expensive for a photoshoot?

Believe it or not, I charge a lot less than professional photographers because I'm still young and learning. However, I value my time and my skillset, and I hope you do the same. I want to put as much energy into your photoshoot as I can because capturing special moments is as important to me as it is to you.

What if I only need a photo for a profile?

Some shoots take less time than others, and sometimes you only need one of the photos I take! I understand that $150 may be a lot for that kind of photoshoot, so I am willing to negotiate. However, I will not go below $50. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have concerns!

How much do you charge per hour?

In terms of regular photoshoots, I don't charge by the hour, only per shoot. Some shoots take less time, and some take a bit more--it all depends on what the shoots need and whether we feel we have taken enough shots. You are not limited to one hour. However, we will set a general timeframe before the shoot, and I may ask for more if we go way over that timeframe.
In terms of events, typically $100 an hour. However, this depends on the type of event and what you need from me.
